Sapa, Vietnam was a resort town of French people in the French time. Sapa is 350kms from Hanoi. It locates in a highland 1500m above the sea level. Sapa nowadays become the most typical destination for Nothern Vietnamese and foreign tourists.

In the town, mostly the Viet (Kinh) people live and do their shop business which migranted from surrounding areas to town. Whereas, in the villages the local inhabited hundred of year.
