Sapa nowadays known as the number 1 destination for ttravellers visiting Vietnam. Sapa is unique and different from the rest. To visit Sapa, travellers could go by train or by bus. Since 2014, Noi Bai - Lao Cai highway was opened for bus and car arriving right at the foot of Sapa. Sapa tourism becomes much more easier. The distance has been shortened a half and just 5 hours by bus (or car) you could enjoy the unique beauty of Sapa that nowhere could be found.
When arriving the town, tourists could choose hotel or homestay for accomodation. To experience the real life, homestay is highly recommended. This is the superd way to get to know the daily activities of local.
It takes 30 minutes on van to arrive the village of Lao Chai. Then you will trek down hills for admiring the authentic peaceful rice terraces of local here.
The next village is Ta Van. The highlight is rural area, they seem to keep away from modern civilization with buffalo ploughing and cow gazing on the grass field...
Day 2: Cat Cat village
After breakfast, it is good time to see Cat Cat when the sun is coming out from the cloud. Cat Cat shows up like the fairy just waking up after a beautiful dream. With many embroidry and fabricade products, the village seduces tourists by its own charm of mountainous area. The local dancing and singing which decorates the painting of Northwest Vietnam more fabulous. You have chance to see Black H'Mong, Red Dzao people in their own clothes. And specially, that is the chance to communicate with them. They could speak English quite fluently which atonishs even the English mother tonge tourists.
